cOsmetic surgery is quite common in irAn - and not only with the rich people. We usually saw several people with bandaides on their noses on the slopes. It´s a sign of status. Even hair implantes are a daily thing... even though they look pretty nasty and unnatural - even scary at times. Our friend asked me if my nose was fixed - i guess that was a compiment..

The rich iranis are pretty preoccupied with appearance it seems: the chicks all wear tonns of make-up (and they get a chance to really show their faces, necks and bodyshape in the mountains, but they have to be covored more in the cities) - and the guys basically wear litres of hairspray... I never got how they got their hair to stay like this for a whole day riding. The due wouln´t even move if they fell or if it was windy!
I´ve put in all the pictures HERE - more skIRAN flics, plus some culturama from persias old capital: Esfahan.
